Instructions for authors

Dear Authors!

Thank you for your interest in publishing in our scientific-practical journal Pedagogical Dimensions. We kindly ask you to carefully review this instruction and follow it when preparing your manuscripts. Adhering to these requirements will accelerate the review and publication process of your article.


General Requirements for the Manuscript

The article should be written in Kazakh, Russian, or English and submitted in Word format (A4 page size, portrait orientation, margins 20 mm on all sides). Font: Times New Roman, font size 12. Line spacing: single. Text alignment: justified, without word breaks. Paragraph indentation: 0.8 cm.

The article must be submitted through the journal's online platform OJS (Open Journal System). To submit new material, click: Submit new material.

The length of the article should not exceed 15 pages (including tables, figures, and the list of references). The minimum length is 6 pages.

The article must have a clear and logical structure, including the following elements:

  • Title: should include the article’s MNNTI (the Classification system is available online at https://grnti.ru/, or authors can get the MNNTI code at the library).

  • Author information: full names (first and last names), the institution or organization name, city, country, email of the author responsible for correspondence with the editorial board, and authors' ORCID [https://orcid.org/].

  • Title of the article: should be provided in English, Kazakh, and Russian.

Abstract (150-250 words): should include the relevance of the research, the purpose, methods, main results, and conclusions. The abstract should be provided in English, Kazakh, and Russian.

Keywords: 5-7 keywords or phrases reflecting the main theme of the article. Keywords should be provided in English, Kazakh, and Russian.

Internal Structure of the Scientific Article (each section of the article must be clearly defined):

  • Introduction

  • Materials and Methods

  • Results and Discussion

  • Conclusion

  • (Acknowledgments) (if applicable)

  • (Information about funding) (if applicable)

  • List of References

The list of references should be arranged according to the citation order in the article.

In the article, there must be references to all cited sources, formatted in square brackets.

The list of references must comply with GOST 7.1-2003 "Bibliographic Record. Bibliographic Description. General Requirements and Rules for Compilation" and the American Psychological Association (APA) format [https://apastyle.apa.org/]. For formatting bibliographic references, you can also use the tool [https://www.mendeley.com/reference-management/]. Transliterations should be done via the website [https://translit.net/ru/mvd/].


Requirements for the Formatting of Tables and Figures:

  • Tables should have a sequential number and a title that reflects their content. All columns and rows must have clear headings, and notes to the table should be placed below the table. References to tables in the text are mandatory.

  • Figures (graphs, diagrams, photos) should be of high quality, have a sequential number and a title that explains their content. All elements in the figure must be clear and easy to read. References to figures in the text are mandatory.


Information about the Authors should be provided in English, Kazakh, and Russian languages: surname, first name, patronymic (fully), academic degree, academic title (if any), position, place of work (full name of the organization), and address; contact details of each author (email, phone number).

Prepare your manuscript according to these instructions and the journal’s requirements. After submission, the article undergoes a peer review process.
